Albion Parent/Carer Community
Friends of Albion PTA supports the school by organising fundraising and community events.
All parents and carers are automatically members and we’d love you toget involved!
Who we are
The PTA was formed in 2025 and replaced the former Albion Parent Carer Community. Becoming a formal PTA allows us to apply for charity status, opening up new fundraising and sponsorship opportunities.
The PTA is run by an elected committee of parent volunteers:
- Mariana Montalvao Reis (Chair)
- Emily Haves (Vice Chair)
- Manuela Allegrozzi (Treasurer)
- Kate Daly (Secretary)
- Lara Akinnawo (Publicity Officer)
We are supported by Assistant Headteacher Mrs Fatungase and Family Support and Engagement Officer Mrs Browne.
What we do
Friends of Albion exists to support the school by raising money and running events that bring the school community together.
Our biggest events are the summer and winter fairs, which raise vital funds and are highlights of the school year. We also run smaller activities, such as the International Evening, where families share dishes from their cultural heritage, refreshment sales, and other micro‑fundraisers throughout the year.
Our priorities and activities in 2026
This year we aim to establish Friends of Albion as a registered charity. We will hold our first annual general meeting and adopt our new constitution.
So far in the 2025/26 academic year we have raised £TBA, which supported the winter pantomime performances the children enjoyed. Our goal is to raise a further £3000 this year to buy bikes, scooters and other mobility toys for the nursery and reception play areas.
The Summer Fair will take place on Friday 3 July 2026 - save the date!
How you can get involved
Whether you have a little time or a lot, there are many ways to support the PTA:
- volunteer at an event
- share a fundraising idea
- offer a skill or service
