It's Thursday, and if you thought our Summer Club couldn't get any better... think again! Today's line-up is bursting with energy, creativity, and just the right amount of squish. Here's what our superstars have been getting up to:

Warm Up and Sports Games

Every great day starts with getting the blood pumping! Our warm-up games aren't just about burning energy (though there's plenty of that) . They build coordination, teamwork, and listening skills, setting the tone for a day of focus and fun.

Arts & Crafts: Pencil Pot Holder (Upcycled!)

Who says yesterday's junk can't become today's masterpiece? Our budding designers are transforming household recycling into brilliant pencil pot holders. Beyond the fine motor skills and creativity this builds, it's a hands-on lesson in sustainability, showing children that reusing materials is not only good for the planet, but seriously good fun too.

Gymnastics

Tumbles, rolls, balances and bends. Gymnastics is fantastic for building strength, flexibility, and body awareness. It also teaches patience and resilience, as children work to master new skills one practice at a time.

Danny Go Go Dance Routines

Time to shake it out! Our Danny Go Go dance sessions get everyone moving to catchy rhythms while sneaking in some seriously valuable development: memory (learning sequences), coordination, and confidence, all wrapped up in a dance floor party atmosphere.

Craft Your Own Beaded Octopus Pet

Meet the newest member of the Summer Club family! Threading beads to create a wiggly octopus pet is brilliant for fine motor control and concentration, and it's a wonderful introduction to pattern-making and colour sequencing. All while ending up with a pet you can actually take home.

Milkshake & Stuck in the Mud

Nothing beats classic playground games for building social skills. Milkshake and Stuck in the Mud get everyone laughing, running, and crucially… learning to play fairly, include others, and be a good sport whether they're "it" or not.

Sensory Sand Play

Rounding off the day with something calmer but no less valuable, sand play is a brilliant sensory experience. It supports emotional regulation, encourages imaginative and open-ended play, and gives little hands a well-earned rest after all that action!

From up-cycled crafts to octopus pets, today proved that Summer Club is where fun and learning go hand in hand… every single day. Can't wait to see what Friday brings!
